    Contract

    Semantics first

    Anatomy

    Uses a labelled unordered list; removable tags keep their visible text and expose an individual native remove action.

    Consumer classes, styles, and data attributes may extend the surface, but required roles, IDs, relationships, and handlers remain owned by the component.

    Keyboard

    • Tab reaches each removable tag action in list order.
    • Enter and Space remove the focused tag through its native button.
    • Non-removable tags do not add tab stops.
